Widya Gondosaputro

Maëlle Tremblay

Originally from Jakarta, Wid moved to Bali 16 years ago to teach yoga and pursue her dreams. A ballet dancer in her youth, she attended her first yoga class at 20 and immediately felt a profound calling to teach, sparking a lifelong passion for the healing power of movement. To deepen her practice, she traveled to India to complete her first Hatha yoga teacher training at a Sivananda retreat. There, she immersed herself not only in asanas, but in yoga as a complete way of living—rooted in devotion, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork).

Always curious about the body’s potential, Wid went on to explore diverse movement disciplines, including pole dancing, weight training, Pilates, and barre. As a dedicated teacher, she is passionate about helping people understand, respect, and connect with their bodies, wholeheartedly believing that the art of the body is at the heart of healing. Her classes are designed to gently challenge students beyond their comfort zones, leaving them feeling empowered and ready to take on the world.

For over a decade, Wid also served as the lead yoga facilitator for The Goddess Retreat in Bali, one of the island’s pioneering wellness sanctuaries for women. This immersive experience gave her a deep, intuitive understanding of what individuals truly need during a retreat, allowing her to curate meaningful, nurturing, and transformative journeys.

Three years ago, Wid transitioned from the gentle rhythm of beach life in Bali to Quebec, Canada, where she has been teaching and building a vibrant, dedicated Pilates community. Adapting to the fast-paced lifestyle of North America brought its own challenges. Navigating this new intensity led to an unexpected period of burnout—a turning point that called her back to her roots and the sanctuary of yoga, meditation, and sound healing. This profound transition gave Wid the space to truly master the art of slowing down. In today’s demanding world, she rediscovered that regularly turning inward through meditation, deep breathing, and mindful movement is essential to preventing burnout and sustaining a vibrant, fulfilling life. This personal evolution inspired the creation of her new wellness retreat.

Dedicated to sharing these transformative practices, Wid is honored to offer a sacred space in beautiful Mont-Tremblant. By thoughtfully weaving Hatha yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Pilates into a holistic experience, this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and cultivate lasting vitality.

Two years ago, I reached my lowest point—struggling with my health and navigating the end of my 17-year marriage. That is when I met Widya, and that connection changed my life. Through our work together, I gained physical strength and, even more importantly, the emotional strength to recognize that I am worthy of happiness, strength, and confidence.

When Widya invited me to help her create retreats in Mont-Tremblant—spaces where others could reconnect with themselves, restore their minds and bodies, and receive tools to continue their own journeys—I said yes without hesitation. I am living proof that healing is possible, and I am here to hold space for your transformation.

Today, I partner with Widya to host Anahata Retreats, empowering experiences designed to help you come home to yourself, regenerate your mind and body, and navigate life’s ongoing journey with greater clarity and resilience.

My background in marketing and communications allows me to help bring the right participants to our retreats, while I also support Widya as your hostess throughout your regenerative retreat experience.
